This policy explains what information DeskHand (“we”, “us”) collects when you use this website, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep it plain and short on purpose. If anything is unclear, email us at wahfarmer@icloud.com.
Who we are
DeskHand is a small UK-based business run by Will Farmer and Fin Aston that builds and manages AI agents for local service businesses. For data-protection purposes, we are the data controller for information you submit through this site.
What we collect
- When you book an audit or contact us: your business name, email address, optionally your website URL, and anything you type in the message field.
- When you join the mailing list: your email address.
- In your browser: a single setting (your chosen currency, £ or $) stored in your browser’s local storage so the site remembers it. This never leaves your device and is not used for tracking.
We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels, and we do not build advertising profiles.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry, arrange your free audit, and provide the services you ask for.
- To send you the occasional newsletter, if you have joined the list. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
Our lawful bases are your consent (for the mailing list) and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries you send us.
Who we share it with
We keep sharing to the minimum needed to run the business:
- Form delivery: submissions from this site are delivered to our inbox using FormSubmit. Your details pass through their service purely to reach us by email.
- Email: we receive and store your message in our email account (Apple iCloud Mail).
We never sell your data. If we later add a mailing-list provider (for newsletters) we will name it here.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry emails for as long as we’re in contact and a reasonable period afterwards for our records, then delete them. Mailing-list details are kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can withdraw consent to marketing at any time. Just email wahfarmer@icloud.com and we’ll action it. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).

If this policy changes we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
